INFORMATIONAL MEETING SEPTEMBER 30TH, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING BUILDING ROOM 238, 10 AM!
Husky robotics at the University of Washington
Husky Robotics is a Registered Student Organization at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
We build robots and rovers, and our primary focus is on participation in the University Rover Challenge (http://urc.marssociety.org) every spring.
MISSION:
Our mission at Husky Robotics’ is to provide UW students with an environment where they can learn practical, hands-on engineering skills as part of a large interdisciplinary team.
Unfettered by the time limits of the quarter system, our members build on their skills for the entire year, working in a project-oriented team where they can see how their work becomes part of the complete system. This fosters better communication skills, and a fuller understanding of modern engineering.
And as a side effect, we compete in robotics competitions, taking 9th place out of 35 competitors in 2017!
Thank you to all our sponsors for supporting our efforts
